Upcoming Warrior Transition Workshop

Vets Vehicles proudly supports AMVETS and their work to help veterans transition back into civilian life. They have two upcoming events including one for women-only.

“This is a hands-on reintegration weekend training that will decrease your post traumatic stress (PTS) and increase your skills to move forward. The AMVETS Warrior Transition Workshops are provided at no cost to veterans, active duty, Guard and Reserve. A vet-on-vet interaction provides a safe and confidential environment.”

The women’s only event is November 15th-17th 2013 and will be held in Ashford, Connecticut. The other event is open to both women and men and will be held in Brookville, Maryland on October 18th-20th. More information can be found below:

AMVETS was founded after World War II to serve veterans of that war. Today, membership is open to anyone who is currently serving, or who has honorably served, in the U.S. Armed Forces from World War II to the present (including the Naitonal Guard and Reserves).
